About me
This program grew out of both teaching and real language-learning experience
I'm American and I've been living in Turkey for a long time. My wife is Turkish, and this place feels like a second home to me. I'm an English teacher with a Cambridge-approved CELTA certificate.
I also genuinely love learning languages myself. I know from experience how exciting a new language can feel, but also how difficult it can be.
Over the years, both as a teacher and as a learner, I've become much clearer about what actually helps people start speaking for real.
Why Englingo?
I kept seeing the same problem again and again in Turkey
Many people study English for years, but still struggle when it is time to actually speak. Englingo was created to close that gap.
1. Knowledge exists, fluency does not
People learn the information, but building a sentence becomes difficult when the real moment arrives.
2. Theory is there, practice is missing
Most lessons strengthen rule knowledge, but not the speaking reflex people actually need.

The program is built around learning by speaking, reinforcing through repetition, and helping learners start talking as quickly as possible.
